Excellence Without Idolatry

Mission, Excellence, and the Work of Your Hands · p.55/101 · ~4 min field study

From the Voice of Jesus · Gift of the Holy Spirit

I have come near to your duty station, I am closer than the radio on your shoulder and surer than any human backup.

In the place you stand today — burnout after long push — My word still holds.

The long campaign is won in small faithfulness — the quiet prayer, the clean choice, the honest word, the returned call home.

Excellence is worship when it is done unto Me. Pride is idolatry when it is done unto your own name.

Train your hands for the work, and train your heart for worship. Both belong on the same duty day.

This is VOL-10 training for your soul: Do the work as unto Me with excellence free of vain glory. I speak it not as theory, but as living command. Let the Holy Spirit's golden light search you, heal you, and send you.

Take hold of this Scripture as orders: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9, KJV). Hide it in your heart until it rises unbidden under pressure.

Anchor Scripture · KJV

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
